Information connected to your experience

We may process account details such as your display name, email address, and sign-in identifier. When you create a Tea Post or update your profile, we may process the text, photos, videos, profile image, categories, tags, saved posts, pinned preferences, and other content you choose to provide.

To make Tea Talk and community features work, we may process messages, voice messages, follows, comments, likes, saves, reports, blocks, notifications, and Tea Dew activity. We may also receive technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the app, including device, app version, diagnostic, and interaction information.

Why we use this information

• Provide sign-in, profile, discovery, publishing, messaging, and community features.
• Personalize recommendations using the tea types and content you choose to pin, save, follow, or engage with.
• Deliver notifications, maintain Tea Dew balances, and support community activities.
• Protect the community by reviewing reports, enforcing blocks, preventing misuse, and resolving technical issues.
• Measure and improve the reliability, clarity, and usefulness of Tealing.

Photos, camera, and microphone

Tealing requests camera access when you choose to take a photo, photo library access when you choose media to include in a profile or Tea Post, and microphone access when you choose to record a voice message. These permissions are used to provide the feature you selected. You can manage permissions in your device settings.

Community content

Your public profile information and Tea Posts may be visible to other Tealing users according to the visibility setting you choose. Content shared in a conversation is available to the participants in that conversation. Please avoid including personal information in content that you do not want others to see.

Purchases and Tea Dew

Tealing offers consumable in-app purchases for Tea Dew. Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your complete payment card details. Tea Dew is a virtual in-app point that can be used for creator gifts and selected community experiences.

Sharing and service providers

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Tealing, such as authentication, hosting, analytics, customer support, content moderation, and transaction services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or in connection with a business transaction.

Your choices

You can edit profile information, manage preferences, save or remove content, control notification and privacy settings, block users, and report content. You may also request account-related assistance, including deletion requests, by contacting us.

Children

Tealing is not intended for children under the minimum age required to use our services in their region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not permitted to use the app.

Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy as Tealing evolves. When we make material changes, we will revise the effective date and provide notice where required.
